Spring Market

I hope you are having a nice Spring. We've been enjoying a warmer than average season and it's been awesome. One of my favorite sights  is that of a treeline with the beginning buds of bright green leaves showing through after a long bare winter. I love to walk through puddles after a warm spring rain and keep track of the rate at which flowers come poking through the dirt after a winter's rest. Spring is my favorite season and it just never comes fast enough or stays long enough for me.

A nice distraction for me this year has been a new image kit by the wonderfully talented  Marsha of Tumble Fish Studio fame. Marsha has come out with 2 image kits this past week. Perfect timing on her part as I try to shake off the winter blahs. The first kit is called "Spring Market" and here are a few altered book spreads using some of the images.

and here is one more spread featuring images from the new "Spring Scraps" kit as well as the eye on the black bird from "Spring Market" and the trees from "Happy Place".

Enough play time for me. Now I need to clean up my house and get ready for Easter. We have 6 dozen eggs to color tomorrow and my daughter's birthday to celebrate so my art room door is closed for a few days.

Easter  greetings to you all and thank you for stopping by.

  1. Your pages keep getting better. Where will this end? I see so many names that keep coming back and are teaching all over the country. I wonder when you will join them, because you are so much more original then the lot, and your work is so refreshing....
    Your collages make my day.

Thank you for taking time to leave a comment <3
